Nevada Elk 4281-062-1005

Antlerless elk in Unit 062 — Jeffress, any legal weapon, Oct 5–21, 2026. 58% public land, mostly National Forest.

New for 2025

The 2025 draw is the first on record for 4281-062-1005: Nevada Department of Wildlife did not offer this hunt code in earlier years, so the year-by-year table has one row and there is no point-creep trend to project yet. The odds shown are that one draw's actual results, not an estimate.

The $15 Elk tag application fee (includes $5 elk damage fee) is not refunded. The $3 Game application fee - predator control / habitat (per tag application, every species) is not refunded. The $155 nonresident annual combination hunting and fishing license (the only nonresident adult licence class; must be valid at the time of the draw to earn a bonus point, may be bought 'only if successful' at the cost of the point) is not refunded. Drawing adds the $500 nonresident antlerless elk tag (charged only if drawn).

Optional, not counted above: Bonus-point-only purchase (optional: for someone who does NOT apply for a tag that year; an unsuccessful applicant earns the point automatically at no extra charge - FAQ p.3; licence required) $10 and Department processing fee (per application/licence/tag transaction) $1.

About These Numbers

Odds are from the 2025 draw, the latest on file, computed from Nevada Department of Wildlife's published results (monte Carlo over published bonus-point pools). They are what happened in that draw, not a forecast. Under five tags a percentage carries a *, because one applicant either way swings it. A dash means the agency did not publish the number, and a date marked expected is last cycle's schedule rolled forward.
