Nevada Hunting Laws
Nevada's big-game rifle rule is a genuine range, not just a floor: centerfire cartridges must be between .22 and .50 caliber with a case no longer than 3 inches. It also bans something few other states address at all — any firearm sight with an electronically or computer-controlled firing mechanism (a 'smart scope' ban) — on top of the more common night-vision/thermal ban. Notably, NAC Chapter 503 has no hunter-orange requirement anywhere in it.

Federal rules that apply in every state
These federal requirements apply in Nevada on top of state law.
Federal law: only USFWS-approved nontoxic shot may be used — or even possessed — while hunting waterfowl, coots, and aggregate-bag species.
