Points Needed to Draw
One draw on file (2018), so there is no trend to chart yet.
Bonus points (squared) — no cut to track: each point adds entries to the draw rather than a place in line.
What It Costs · 2026 NR Fees
The $15 Elk tag application fee (includes $5 elk damage fee) is not refunded. The $3 Game application fee - predator control / habitat (per tag application, every species) is not refunded. The $155 nonresident annual combination hunting and fishing license (the only nonresident adult licence class; must be valid at the time of the draw to earn a bonus point, may be bought 'only if successful' at the cost of the point) is not refunded. Drawing adds the $500 nonresident antlerless elk tag (charged only if drawn).
Optional, not counted above: Bonus-point-only purchase (optional: for someone who does NOT apply for a tag that year; an unsuccessful applicant earns the point automatically at no extra charge - FAQ p.3; licence required) $10 and Department processing fee (per application/licence/tag transaction) $1.

As a Lower Choice
Tags issued to lower choices ÷ lower-choice applicants, as published. Nevada draws lower choices with your points too, so this is an average across everyone who listed it lower: an applicant with more points than most does better.

About These Numbers
Odds are from the 2018 draw, the latest on file, computed from Nevada Department of Wildlife's published results (monte Carlo over published bonus-point pools). They are what happened in that draw, not a forecast. Under five tags a percentage carries a *, because one applicant either way swings it. A dash means the agency did not publish the number, and a date marked expected is last cycle's schedule rolled forward. How we compute these.
