Product Overview
Weatherby Select Plus 180-grain AccuBond is a bonded .300 Weatherby Magnum load made for hunting. The AccuBond is Nosler's polymer-tipped hunting bullet, its lead core joined to the jacket so the two hold together. It leaves the muzzle at 3,250 fps with 4,223 ft-lbs and a G1 BC of .507.
Zero it at 200 yards and it drops 5.4 inches at 300 and 15.6 inches at 400, arriving with 2,511 ft-lbs. A 100-yard zero leaves it 20.1 inches low at 400.
If you're cross-shopping, Weatherby's Select Plus TTSX is solid copper at the same bullet weight and starts 18 fps slower, and from a 200-yard zero it drops 16.0 inches at 400. Nosler's Trophy Grade 180-grain AccuBond is the same bullet 75 fps slower, with 195 ft-lbs less at the muzzle.
