Hornady Precision Hunter 200-grain ELD-X is a polymer-tipped .300 Weatherby Magnum load made for large and medium game. The ELD-X runs a lead core behind a polymer tip, over a boat tail. At 200 grains it is the heaviest bullet the caliber is loaded with, and it leaves the muzzle at 2,960 fps with 3,890 ft-lbs and a G1 BC of .597.
Zeroed at 200 yards, it drops 6.4 inches at 300 and 18.4 inches at 400, where it still carries 2,472 ft-lbs. From a 100-yard zero the drop at 400 is 24.3 inches.
