Product Overview
DoubleTap 130-grain Swift Scirocco II is a bonded .260 Remington hunting load. The Scirocco II is Swift's polymer-tipped bullet with a bonded lead core and a boat tail. It leaves the muzzle at 2,900 fps with 2,427 ft-lbs and has a G1 BC of .571, the highest of the .260 Remington hunting loads compared.
Zeroed at 200 yards, it drops 6.8 inches at 300 and 19.5 inches at 400, arriving with 1,503 ft-lbs, more than any of the loads compared carries at that distance.
If you're cross-shopping, HSM's Trophy Gold 130-grain Berger VLD is 25 fps slower on a G1 BC of .562 and lands within half an inch of it at 400 yards from a 200-yard zero. DoubleTap's own 127-grain Barnes LRX starts 100 fps faster with no lead in the bullet.
