Power factor is 121: 16 over the IDPA stock-revolver floor of 105 and 1 point over USPSA's 120 revolver-minor floor, which is a thin margin. It holds speed well: 879 fps at 50 yards and 845 fps with 209 ft-lbs at 100, dropping 2.2 inches at 50 and 15.2 at 100 from a 25-yard zero. Recoil energy is second-highest here.

Fiocchi Range Dynamics 130-grain is the only load above it, 33 fps faster with about 3 percent more recoil energy, yet only 0.8 inch flatter at 100 yards. Federal American Eagle 130-grain is 27 fps behind and drops 1.0 inch more at 100, where it carries 15 ft-lbs less. Winchester USA 130-grain and Remington UMC 130-grain are identical on paper at 800 fps, 185 ft-lbs and a power factor of 104; the PMC is 117 fps faster and 17 points higher in power factor. At 50 yards the PMC, Fiocchi and American Eagle are within 0.4 inch of one another.

This is the softest load in the set that makes USPSA's 120 revolver-minor floor, which is the reason to buy it, but 1 point of margin is not much. Chronograph it in your revolver, and if it comes up short, Fiocchi Range Dynamics 130-grain makes 120 with 3.5 points to spare. If you carry Federal Hydra-Shok Deep +P 130-grain, the PMC produces about 6 percent more recoil energy than the carry load in the same revolver; Federal American Eagle 130-grain, within 2 percent of it, is the closer practice match. A new shooter or a snub-nose owner should start with Winchester USA 130-grain or Remington UMC 130-grain at 800 fps.
