This page is mostly five-shot snub-nose revolvers for concealed carry, so the main choices are hammer style and frame material. Enclosed-hammer guns like the S&W Model 642 snag less when drawn from a pocket, while exposed hammers allow single-action shots. Alloy frames are easy to carry but kick hard, and a steel revolver with a longer barrel, like the S&W Model 10, is far easier to shoot well.
