The rest are faster. Federal American Eagle 130-grain is 90 fps and 44 ft-lbs ahead with about 19 percent more recoil energy in the same revolver, and it is 4.0 inches flatter at 100 yards. PMC Bronze 132-grain is 117 fps faster with about 29 percent more recoil and 5.0 inches less drop at 100. Fiocchi Range Dynamics 130-grain, at 950 fps, is 150 fps ahead with about 32 percent more recoil, and lands 5.8 inches higher at 100.

Buy this for a first revolver, a lightweight snub nose, or a long session, since nothing jacketed in this set kicks less, and there is no +P rating to check. If you shoot IDPA stock revolver, it misses the 105 floor by a point; Federal American Eagle 130-grain makes it at 116. If you carry Federal Hydra-Shok Deep +P 130-grain, this is a poor practice match: the carry load runs 100 fps faster with about 21 percent more recoil energy in the same revolver; the American Eagle's recoil is within 2 percent of it, and the revolver needs a +P rating before the Hydra-Shok goes in.
