Arizona Elk — Unit 4A
Arizona Unit 4A covers 482,727 acres and lies 20 miles south of Winslow and 40 miles west of Holbrook. 66% of it is public land, mostly national forest (43%) and state trust land (23%). A further 13% is tribal land rather than public land. In 2025, 494 people hunted elk here and took 179 — 36% of them killed something. The 2026 draw put up 97 tags here for 20 first-choice applicants.
