Arizona Unit 3A covers 494,750 acres and lies 9 miles north of Snowflake and 19 miles south of Holbrook. 30% of it is public land, mostly state trust land (19%) and BLM (7%). In 2025, 222 people hunted elk here and took 47 — 21% of them killed something. The 2026 draw put up 175 tags here for 17 first-choice applicants.
