Hornady BLACK 105-grain BTHP is a match-bullet 6mm Creedmoor load made for paper and steel. Its bullet is a hollow point with a boat tail and no polymer tip, and Hornady names no application for the BLACK line beyond general use. It leaves the muzzle at 2,960 fps with 2,043 ft-lbs and a G1 BC of .530.
From a 200-yard zero it drops 6.6 inches at 300 and 19.0 inches at 400. A 100-yard zero puts it 25.0 inches low at 400.
If you're cross-shopping, Hornady Match 108-grain ELD Match leaves the muzzle at the same 2,960 fps on a G1 BC of .536 and runs the same path to 400 yards.
