Ammo Inc's Stelth TMC is for shooters who want the heaviest bullet among the subsonic .300 Blackout loads on this site. It carries a 220-grain TMC bullet, a total metal jacket design in which the jacket covers the base as well as the nose. It leaves the muzzle at 1,016 fps, under the speed of sound, with 504 ft-lbs of energy.
Compared with Sellier & Bellot's 200-grain Subsonic FMJ, the Stelth starts 44 fps slower and carries only 5 ft-lbs more energy at the muzzle. The S&B also uses a lighter 200-grain bullet. Compared with Hornady's Frontier 208-grain FMJ, the Stelth starts 9 fps slower but carries 19 ft-lbs more at the muzzle. The Frontier's bullet is 12 grains lighter.
Buy the Stelth if bullet weight and muzzle energy matter most to you. Pick the S&B if you want a faster load that Sellier & Bellot markets for range and match shooting. Pick the Frontier if you want a 208-grain full metal jacket from the line Hornady sells for plinking, target shooting and training.
