Product Overview
Nosler Expansion Tip 120-grain E-Tip is a solid copper .260 Remington hunting load made for deer-sized game. There is no lead in the E-Tip at all, just copper under a polymer tip. It leaves the muzzle at 2,750 fps with 2,015 ft-lbs and has a G1 BC of .497.
Zeroed at 200 yards, it drops 7.9 inches at 300 and 22.9 inches at 400, arriving with 1,140 ft-lbs. Its estimated recoil is the mildest of the .260 Remington loads compared.
If you're cross-shopping, Barnes' VOR-TX 120-grain TTSX is the other copper bullet at this weight, 200 fps faster on a lower G1 BC of .412, and from a 200-yard zero it drops 20.9 inches at 400. Fort Scott Munitions' 123-grain TUI is faster again, at 3,026 fps.
