Fort Scott Munitions 123-grain TUI is a solid copper .260 Remington load made for hunting, match shooting and self-defense. The TUI is a one-piece copper bullet with no lead core. It leaves the muzzle at 3,026 fps with 2,501 ft-lbs, the fastest start of the .260 Remington loads compared.
In the same rifle its estimated recoil runs about 8 percent above Barnes' VOR-TX 120-grain TTSX, which makes it the heaviest-recoiling of the three light .260 Remington loads compared. At 123 grains it sits just above the caliber's pair of 120-grain lead-free loads in bullet weight.
If you're cross-shopping, Barnes' VOR-TX 120-grain TTSX is a polymer-tipped copper bullet 76 fps slower at the muzzle. Nosler's Expansion Tip 120-grain E-Tip is 276 fps slower and the mildest of the three on recoil.
