Speer Lawman +P 158-grain TMJ is only 9 fps and 6 ft-lbs ahead, and the Armscor produces about 2 percent less recoil energy in the same revolver without the extra pressure. The rest of the group is far milder. Ammo Inc 158-grain TMC is 141 fps and 81 ft-lbs behind, and its power factor of 119 misses 120 by about a point. Fiocchi Range Dynamics 158-grain FMJ is the same bullet weight and jacket at 730 fps, 161 fps behind, and the Armscor recoils about 38 percent harder. PMC Bronze 132-grain FMJ leaves 26 fps faster at 917 fps, but its lighter bullet makes a power factor of 121 and about 27 percent less recoil energy than the Armscor. Magtech 130-grain FMJ at 800 fps sits at 104, a point under even the 105 IDPA floor.

Buy this for USPSA revolver, where 141 gives more margin over 120 than any other standard-pressure load in the group, and for shooters who want Lawman-level recoil from a revolver that is not rated for +P. It is more than a carry-load stand-in needs: the Armscor produces about 19 percent more recoil energy than Hornady's 158-grain XTP JHP at 800 fps in the same revolver. A new shooter or a snub-nose owner should start with Fiocchi Range Dynamics 158-grain instead.
