Solved from this product's advertised 1255 fps, 40gr bullet and G1 BC 0.161, with the sight 1.5" over the bore at standard conditions. Compare every zero for .22LR, or read .22 LR: 50-Yard vs 100-Yard Zero.
How to read it: filled circles are the near and far zero, where the bullet's path crosses the line of sight;the triangle is the peak (max ordinate). The shaded band is the 4" vital zone, ±2" either side of the line of sight. Dashed line: where the bullet goes subsonic. The dashed line marks the edge of the hold-dead-on window. The chart is zoomed to where the zero matters; the tables below run to 200 yards.

Product Overview
Aguila's .22 LR Super Extra High Velocity 40-grain SP is a high velocity load made for target shooting and plinking. Its bullet is a copper-plated round nose over a lead core. It leaves the muzzle at 1,255 fps with 140 ft-lbs and a G1 BC of .161.
From a 50-yard zero it drops 5.3 inches at 100 yards, the least of the loads compared, and a 75-yard zero holds that to 3.0 inches. At 50 yards it is still moving 1,129 fps.
If you're cross-shopping, Aguila's Super Extra HV 38-grain HP is the hollow point in the line, 25 fps faster at the muzzle but 31 fps slower by 100 yards. Aguila's Super Extra 40-grain Standard Velocity SP is the same bullet weight 125 fps slower at the muzzle.
- A plated bullet, where Aguila's Super Extra 40-grain Standard Velocity SP is bare lead
- The most speed left at 100 yards of the loads compared, at 1,039 fps
- 27 ft-lbs more at the muzzle than Aguila's Super Extra 40-grain Standard Velocity SP
- A round nose, so for small game and varmints the hollow point in the line is Aguila's Super Extra HV 38-grain HP
- Supersonic at the muzzle, so a suppressor only quiets the muzzle blast
