Solved from this product's advertised 1280 fps, 38gr bullet and G1 BC 0.124, with the sight 1.5" over the bore at standard conditions. Compare every zero for .22LR, or read .22 LR: 50-Yard vs 100-Yard Zero.
How to read it: filled circles are the near and far zero, where the bullet's path crosses the line of sight;the triangle is the peak (max ordinate). The shaded band is the 4" vital zone, ±2" either side of the line of sight. Dashed line: where the bullet goes subsonic. The dashed line marks the edge of the hold-dead-on window. The chart is zoomed to where the zero matters; the tables below run to 200 yards.

Product Overview
Aguila's Super Extra HV .22 LR 38-grain HP is a hollow point load made for small game, varmints and target shooting. The bullet is a lead core under a thin copper plating, with an open nose. It leaves the muzzle at 1,280 fps with 138 ft-lbs and a G1 BC of .124.
Zeroed at 50 yards it drops 5.5 inches at 100 yards, and a 75-yard zero holds that to 3.1 inches. At 100 yards it is doing 1,008 fps.
If you're cross-shopping, Aguila's .22 LR Super Extra High Velocity 40-grain SP starts 25 fps slower on a higher G1 BC of .161. Aguila's Super Extra 40-grain Standard Velocity SP starts 150 fps slower on a heavier bullet, and from a 50-yard zero it drops 6.6 inches at 100 yards.
- The fastest start of the loads compared
- Copper plating over the lead core, where Aguila's Super Extra 40-grain Standard Velocity SP is bare lead
- Still carrying 86 ft-lbs at 100 yards
- The lowest G1 BC of the loads compared, so Aguila's .22 LR Super Extra High Velocity 40-grain SP passes it by 100 yards
- Well past the speed of sound at the muzzle, so a suppressor has only the muzzle blast to work on
