Product Overview
Prvi Partizan 140-grain PSP is a pointed soft point 7mm Remington Magnum load made for hunting. The bullet has a boat tail with lead exposed at the nose. It leaves the muzzle at 3,100 fps with 2,988 ft-lbs and has a G1 BC of .396.
Zeroed at 200 yards, it drops 6.5 inches at 300 yards and 18.9 inches at 400 yards, arriving with 1,501 ft-lbs. From a 100-yard zero the drop at 400 yards is 24.5 inches. It kicks about the same as Winchester's Deer Season XP 140-grain.
If you're cross-shopping, Remington's Core-Lokt 140-grain PSP is the same bullet idea on a G1 BC of .390 and starts faster. Winchester's Deer Season XP 140-grain has a G1 BC of .484 and from a 200-yard zero drops 17.6 inches at 400 yards.
- Carries 1,800 ft-lbs at 300 yards
- A higher G1 BC than Sellier & Bellot's 140-grain SP at .231
- Among the lightest-recoiling loads in the caliber
- A lead core, so it is out where lead-free ammunition is required. Black Hills Gold's 140-grain Barnes TSX has none in it
- 145 ft-lbs less at the muzzle than Remington's Core-Lokt 140-grain PSP, and 213 short of Winchester's Deer Season XP 140-grain at 400 yards
- A plain soft point with no tip, where Winchester's Deer Season XP 140-grain has one
