Product Overview
Federal Premium 140-grain Trophy Copper is an all-copper 7mm Remington Magnum load made for medium and big game. Trophy Copper is a polymer-tipped copper bullet with no lead core. It leaves the muzzle at 3,150 fps with 3,085 ft-lbs.
Recoil is the same as Federal's Vital-Shok 140-grain Trophy Bonded Tip and sits at the light end of the caliber, which is much of what a 140-grain bullet is for in a case this size. Remington's Core-Lokt 140-grain PSP is the only 140-grain load in the caliber that starts faster.
If you're cross-shopping, Barnes' VOR-TX 140-grain TTSX is the other copper bullet with a polymer tip at this weight, 50 fps slower at the muzzle on a G1 BC of .412. Sako's PowerHead Blade 140-grain is copper as well, on a G1 BC of .362.
