Federal Premium Vital-Shok 160-grain Trophy Bonded Tip is a bonded 7mm Remington Magnum load made for big game. Federal bonds the jacket to the lead core and caps it with a polymer tip. It leaves the muzzle at 2,900 fps with 2,988 ft-lbs and has a G1 BC of .520.
Zeroed at 200 yards, it drops 6.9 inches at 300 yards and 20.0 inches at 400 yards, arriving with 1,759 ft-lbs. From a 100-yard zero the drop at 400 yards is 26.5 inches. Of the loads compared it kicks the least.
