Federal Premium 160-grain Nosler Partition is a dual-core 7mm Remington Magnum load made for big game. A copper wall splits the Partition's lead core into a front and a rear section, and nothing else in the caliber is built that way. It leaves the muzzle at 2,950 fps with 3,093 ft-lbs and has a G1 BC of .475.
Zeroed at 200 yards, it drops 6.8 inches at 300 yards and 19.8 inches at 400 yards, with 1,733 ft-lbs left. From a 100-yard zero the drop at 400 yards is 26.0 inches. It kicks about the same as Federal's 160-grain Barnes TSX.
