Black Hills Gold 175-grain ELD-X is a polymer-tipped 7mm Remington Magnum load made for hunting. Hornady's ELD-X supplies the bullet, polymer-tipped over a lead core. It leaves the muzzle at 2,850 fps with 3,156 ft-lbs and has the highest G1 BC in the caliber at .689.
Zeroed at 200 yards, it drops 6.8 inches at 300 yards and 19.4 inches at 400 yards, arriving with 2,122 ft-lbs. From a 100-yard zero the drop at 400 yards is 25.8 inches. It kicks less than HSM's Trophy Gold 180-grain Berger VLD.
