Norma's Golden Target 143-grain is a boat-tail hollow point 6.5 PRC load made for sport shooting and long-range competition. Norma loads a plain match hollow point with nothing in the nose. It leaves the muzzle at 2,986 fps with 2,832 ft-lbs and has a G1 BC of .635.
From a 200-yard zero it drops 6.2 inches at 300 and 17.8 inches at 400. From a 100-yard zero it drops 23.4 inches at 400.
If you're cross-shopping, Fiocchi's Hyperformance Match 140-grain RDF carries a higher G1 BC of .658 on a lighter bullet, and from a 200-yard zero it drops 17.7 inches at 400. Hornady's Match 147-grain ELD Match is 76 fps slower and from that zero drops 18.4 inches at 400.
