Both leave the muzzle at 2,390 fps, both carry a G1 BC of .218, and they kick the same in the same rifle. Compared with Winchester's Ballistic Silvertip 150-grain, a polymer-tipped bullet rated at a G1 BC of .232, the Power-Point gives up a little, and only past 200 yards. Zeroed at 100 yards, both drop about 7 inches at 200. At 300 yards, a steady 10 mph wind blowing across the line of fire pushes the Power-Point about 21 inches sideways and the Ballistic Silvertip about 19.

Buy the Super-X Power-Point if you want a plain soft point for whitetail and big game and your shots stay inside 200 yards, where it keeps pace with the Ballistic Silvertip. Pick the Power-Shok if you prefer Federal; nothing in the numbers separates the two. Pick the Ballistic Silvertip if you want a polymer tip and your shots run out toward 300 yards, where it drifts a little less.
