The G19X V is Glock's crossover in coyote: a full-size grip that takes the 17-round magazine, under a compact 4.02-inch slide and barrel. It is part of the V-series Glock introduced in December 2025. It answers one question: do you want a full grip and full capacity on a pistol whose slide is no longer than a G19's, and do you want it in tan with extended magazines in the box?
The box is the difference buyers notice first. Two of its three magazines are 17+2 extended, it comes in a coyote case, and the slide carries a coyote nPVD finish. The slide stop is ambidextrous. The Glock G45 Gen6 has the same length, height and barrel, comes optic-ready with three optic plates and a flat-faced trigger, and weighs 1.73 oz less. The Glock G19 V has the same slide but a shorter grip at 5.04 inches tall and holds 15. The Sig Sauer P320 M18 is the other coyote crossover, with a factory optic cut and 21-round extended magazines, but it weighs 28.1 oz and is 1.6 inches wide against the Glock's 1.3.
Buy the G19X V if you want the full-grip, compact-slide layout on irons in coyote, with extended magazines already in the box. Skip it if you plan to add a red dot; the G45 Gen6 is the same size and Glock sells it optic-ready.
