Glock 31 Gen4 .357 SIG vs Glock 32 Gen4 .357 SIG

Same .357 SIG chambering, same 6.3 lb trigger, same 1.26" width, same fixed polymer sights and three magazines, in two sizes. The Glock 31 Gen4 .357 SIG holds 15 rounds at 26.1 oz, 7.95" long and 5.47" tall, on a 4.49" barrel with a 6.5" sight radius. The Glock 32 Gen4 .357 SIG holds 13 at 24.34 oz, 7.28" long and 5.04" tall, on a 4.02" barrel with a 6.02" sight radius. The compact gives up two rounds, 0.47" of barrel and 0.48" of sight radius in exchange for 1.76 oz, 0.67" of length and 0.43" of grip height. Neither is cut for an optic.

Pick the Glock 31 Gen4 if:

• You want 15 rounds rather than 13 and the 4.49" barrel for full velocity from the cartridge
• You want the 6.5" sight radius, 0.48" longer than the compact's
• The extra 1.76 oz is welcome for managing .357 SIG recoil on a duty or range gun

Pick the Glock 32 Gen4 if:

• You are carrying it and the 0.43" shorter grip (5.04" vs 5.47") is what keeps it concealed
• You want the lighter gun, 24.34 oz against 26.1 oz
• You want the shorter 7.28" slide for a holster that rides on the belt line

The trigger, width and sights are identical, so this is barrel length and grip height against concealment. Pick the 31 for velocity, capacity and sight radius, the 32 to actually carry it.
