Sierra GameChanger 150-grain TGK is a polymer-tipped boat-tail 7mm Remington Magnum load made for hunting. Sierra markets the Tipped GameKing for whitetail up to bull elk. It leaves the muzzle at 3,000 fps with 2,997 ft-lbs and has the highest G1 BC of the caliber's 150-grain loads at .545.
Zeroed at 200 yards, it drops 6.4 inches at 300 yards and 18.3 inches at 400 yards, arriving with 1,824 ft-lbs. From a 100-yard zero the drop at 400 yards is 24.0 inches. Nothing compared kicks less.
If you're cross-shopping, Remington's Core-Lokt Tipped 150-grain is faster off the muzzle, and on a G1 BC of .530 it drops 16.7 inches at 400 yards from a 200-yard zero. Federal's Fusion 150-grain bonds its core and has a G1 BC of .509.
