Pick Wolf's Military Classic 100-grain if recoil matters most and your range accepts steel cases: it kicks about 29 percent less than the AAC. Hornady markets its Custom 123-grain SST for medium game; the AAC matches its bullet weight for practice, though the SST leaves the muzzle 55 fps faster.
