About This Firearm
The Sig Sauer P365 TacPac is a micro-compact striker-fired 9mm built for concealed carry. Sig still sells it, and it is the standard P365 pistol with two things the base gun does not have, a manual safety and a slide cut for a red dot, on the same 17.8 oz frame.
The optic cut takes the Shield RMSc footprint, so the common micro dots mount with no plate between sight and slide, and the thumb safety sits on the left of the frame. The frame measures 1.1 inches across, 0.04 inch wider than a P365 built without a lever. The trigger is the standard curved Sig unit.
If you're cross-shopping, the Sig Sauer P365 is the same pistol at the same weight with no safety lever and no optic cut, and its flush magazine holds 10 rounds. The Sig Sauer P365 XL stretches the frame to a 3.7-inch barrel and a 12-round magazine at 20.7 oz, with a 4.8-inch grip against the TacPac's 4.3, and it carries its own optic cut.
