The Ruger MAX-9 is a micro-compact striker-fired 9mm built for concealed carry. It has an MSRP of $439. Its slide is cut for direct mounting of co-witnessed JPoint and Shield-pattern micro red dots, so no adapter plate sits under the optic and the irons stay visible through the window.
The front sight is a tritium fiber optic day and night unit and the rear is drift adjustable. Safeties are an external manual lever, an integrated trigger safety and an internal striker blocker, and an inspection port allows a loaded or empty chamber to be confirmed by eye. The magazine release reverses for a left-handed shooter.
