The Shadow Systems MR920 Elite is a Glock 19-size compact with the upgrades most G19 owners buy separately already built in. The decision is between a factory-finished pistol with a 4.0-inch match-grade barrel and 15-round capacity, and a stock G19 that you upgrade yourself.
Shadow Systems says the MR920 works with existing G19 holsters, magazines and gear. The slide uses the company's patented multi-footprint cut, which mounts several red dot patterns directly without adapter plates, and the frame takes interchangeable backstraps that change grip angle, plus a removable magwell. The Glock G19 Gen5 MOS is the stock gun it copies, with a 5.8 lb trigger. The Walther PDP Compact is another optic-ready compact with the same capacity, at 24.4 oz. The HK VP9A1 K uses backstraps and side panels that change grip size, where the MR920's backstraps change grip angle.
