HSM Cowboy Action 200-grain RNFP is a lead round nose flat point .44 Special load made for cowboy action competitors. HSM describes the bullet as a hard round nose flat point, plain lead with no jacket. At 850 fps it makes 321 ft-lbs and a power factor of 170.
Sighted in at 25 yards, it is 2.6 inches low at 50. Its estimated recoil of 7.4 ft-lbs in the same revolver falls between the other two, about 11 percent under Magtech Cowboy Action 240-grain.
