Underwood +P 90-grain XTP JHP is a jacketed hollow point .380 Auto load made for self-defense. Underwood loads Hornady's XTP bullet to +P pressure. At 1,200 fps it makes 288 ft-lbs, far past anything else in the caliber.
Sighted in at 25 yards, it is 1.3 inches low at 50. Its estimated recoil of 2.7 ft-lbs in a compact pistol is the heaviest of the loads compared, about 27 percent above Speer Gold Dot 90-grain.
If you're cross-shopping, Speer Gold Dot 90-grain is 160 fps slower at the same bullet weight, with 72 ft-lbs less at the muzzle. Hornady American Gunner 90-grain XTP loads the same bullet at standard pressure, 200 fps slower.
