Its one close comparison is the SinterFire Next Generation (NXG) 125-grain ball, the same bullet weight and construction at 1,250 fps: 100 fps slower, with 72 ft-lbs less at the muzzle and about 13 percent less recoil energy in the same pistol. That 100 fps is the whole difference between the two loads. Both are light bullets at high speed, so the impulse is quick and sharp. If power factor does not matter, the NXG 125-grain gives the same construction with about 13 percent less recoil. If the purpose is handgun hunting, Hornady's 10mm Auto MonoFlex 135-grain is a copper-alloy expanding bullet with 12 ft-lbs more at the muzzle, and is the one to buy instead of any frangible load.
