Magtech 180-grain JHP is a jacketed hollow point 10mm Auto load made for self-defense, and Magtech names hunting for it as well. The bullet is a lead core in a copper jacket with an open nose. It leaves the muzzle at 1,230 fps with 605 ft-lbs.
On a 25-yard zero it prints 1.1 inches low at 50, arriving at 1,118 fps. Estimated recoil in a compact pistol is 11.1 ft-lbs.
