Colorado GMU 4 covers 299,151 acres and lies 20 miles north-east of Craig and 37 miles north-west of Steamboat Springs. 48% of it is public land, mostly national forest (30%) and BLM (11%). In 2024, 678 people hunted deer here and took 384, a 57% success rate. Its most applied-for hunt, DE003P3R, put up 750 tags (all residencies) in the 2026 draw for 359 nonresident first-choice applicants.
