Arizona Unit 34A covers 441,360 acres and lies 17 miles south of Sahuarita and 31 miles south of Tucson. 60% of it is public land, mostly national forest (30%) and state trust land (27%). In 2025, hunters took 447 white-tailed deer here (sum of published weapon rows); hunter counts not published. Its most applied-for hunt, 1127, put up 10 tags (all residencies) in the 2026 draw for 128 nonresident first-choice applicants, 7 of whom drew, and the last tag went to someone with 10 points.
