About This Suppressor
The SilencerCo Sparrow 22 is a stainless steel rimfire suppressor for .22 rifles and pistols. It has an MSRP of $349. Its core is one monolithic piece instead of a stack of loose baffles, so cleaning means pulling out a single part.
It threads straight onto a threaded muzzle, and SilencerCo's Delta Adapters fit it if you would sooner have a quick-detach mount, which is a separate buy. Taking it apart for cleaning needs no tools. SilencerCo rates it for full-auto fire with .22 LR, which covers a belt-fed .22 conversion. The whole can is 17-4 stainless steel, so there is no aluminium part anywhere in the stack.
If you're cross-shopping, the Dead Air Mask HD measures the same 1.07 inches across and weighs 6.6 ounces, close enough that weight will not decide it, but its tube is titanium and it has an MSRP of $489. The SilencerCo Switchback 22 has an MSRP of $579 and comes apart into four configurations between 2.80 and 5.75 inches, which a fixed-length can cannot do. All three thread onto the barrel, so mounting works the same way on each.
Strengths & Limitations

Cons
- At 6.5 ounces it is heavier than the 4-ounce class of rimfire cans on this list.
- One body length, with no short configuration for pistol work.
