About This Suppressor
The Dead Air Mask HD is a titanium and stainless steel rimfire suppressor for .22 rifles and pistols. It has an MSRP of $489. Dead Air puts an 850 ft-lb energy ceiling on it and sets no barrel-length restriction, so a short .22 pistol barrel is inside the rating.
It threads straight onto the barrel with no piston or booster involved, and Dead Air lists it as user-serviceable, so the baffle stack comes out for cleaning. A thread adapter is the one extra a host with a different muzzle thread would need. Dead Air rates it for full-auto fire, which covers belt-fed .22 conversions.
