About This Suppressor
The Silencer Central Banish HD 556 Inc is an Inconel rifle suppressor for 5.56 carbines. It has an MSRP of $1,129. Silencer Central builds it with nine baffles and lists it as full-auto rated.
It uses an industry-standard HUB mount and comes with a 1/2x28 direct thread HUB mount, so a threaded 5.56 barrel is covered as delivered. Any other thread or a quick-detach system needs a different HUB adapter, bought separately. Mounts from other makers fit that pattern as well as Silencer Central's own, so the hardware is not tied to the house brand. Silencer Central lists it as not user-serviceable.
If you're cross-shopping, the Dead Air Sierra 5 has an MSRP of $859, shares the HUB thread, and is 1.5 inches across at 13.3 ounces with its Xeno adapter. The Rugged Razor556 has an MSRP of $836 and mounts on its own taper-lock brake. The Banish HD 556 Inc costs more than either and answers with an Inconel body.
Strengths & Limitations
Pros
- Inconel with stainless steel, so the body is in a high-temperature alloy.
- A HUB mount, so the adapter changes with the rifle and the can stays.
- A direct thread mount is in the box.
Cons
- At 15.6 ounces it is heavier than the cheaper 5.56 cans on this list.
- Not user-serviceable, so cleaning the stack is not an owner job.
Where to Buy
Online dealers ship to a licensed dealer (FFL) near you, where you fill out the background-check form. Some still process a Form 4 by default; ask if you want it registered.
