About This Suppressor
The HUXWRX FLOW 556k is a stainless steel rifle suppressor for 5.56 carbines. It has an MSRP of $1,306. HUXWRX builds it on its Flow-Through design, and at 5.5 inches it is the shortest 5.56 can on this list with a mount fitted.
It mounts on HUXWRX's HX-QD system and is compatible with the Muzzle Brake-QD 556 and the Flash Hider-QD 556. The published price is for a kit holding the can and a 1/2x28 Flash Hider QD 556, so a carbine threaded 1/2x28 is covered as delivered. A second QD muzzle device is the extra if the can is to move between rifles.
If you're cross-shopping, the SureFire SOCOM556-RC2 has an MSRP of $1,329 and is 6.4 inches and 17 ounces on SureFire's own Fast-Attach devices. The Rugged Razor556 has an MSRP of $836 and 13.4 ounces on a taper-lock brake. Of the three, the FLOW 556k is the lightest at 12.9 ounces.
Strengths & Limitations

- A stainless steel body on a can this short.
Cons
- Mounting is tied to HUXWRX's own QD devices, so each extra host needs one.
- Wider across than the 1.5-inch 5.56 cans on this list.
