About This Suppressor
The Q Trash Panda is a titanium rifle suppressor for 7.62 rifles. It is 7 inches long, 1.75 inches across and 11.8 ounces, in a PVD finish. Q sets no barrel-length restriction on it.
It mounts on Q's QUICKIE fast-attach system, which means a Cherry Bomb or a Rear End muzzle device on the rifle first, bought separately. One device per host is the pattern, so a second rifle needs its own. Changing hosts is a matter of the device and not the can, so a device left on each rifle keeps it moving between them.
If you're cross-shopping, the Dead Air Nomad-Ti XC has an MSRP of $1,099, is titanium as well at 9.7 ounces with its Xeno adapter, and is HUB compatible. The Thunder Beast Arms Ultra 7 Gen 2 has an MSRP of $1,180 and is 1.5 inches across. Neither of those needs a muzzle device from one maker alone.
Strengths & Limitations
Pros
- No barrel-length restriction, so a short 7.62 host is inside the rating.
- QUICKIE fast-attach, so the can comes off the rifle without tools.
- A titanium body with a PVD finish.
Cons
- Mounting needs a Q Cherry Bomb or Rear End device, so each host costs extra.
- Among the widest .30-calibre cans on this list.
Where to Buy
Online dealers ship to a licensed dealer (FFL) near you, where you fill out the background-check form. Some still process a Form 4 by default; ask if you want it registered.
