GGG's 55-grain M193 is range and training ammunition, and speed at the muzzle is its strong point: it leaves at 3,330 fps with 1,354 ft-lbs of energy. The bullet is a 55-grain full metal jacket, the plain jacketed bullet most practice ammunition uses. Shoot it only in rifles chambered for 5.56 NATO.
Compared with Winchester (Lake City) 55-grain M193, the GGG starts 60 fps faster and kicks about 2 percent harder in the same rifle. Compared with Winchester's White Box 55-grain M193, the gap grows to 150 fps at the muzzle, and the White Box kicks about 5 percent less in the same rifle.
