SIG Sauer Produces Its First Suppressor in Sweden
SIG Sauer said on September 15 that it produced its first suppressor in Sweden with AMEXCI AB and MP-SEC International AB. The partnership is exclusive and supports the SIG Sauer Light Machine Gun and other Nordic military programs.

SIG Sauer said on September 15, 2026, in a release that it produced its first suppressor in Sweden with partners AMEXCI AB and MP-SEC International AB.
The suppressor is for the SIG Sauer Light Machine Gun and broader military modernization programs in the Nordics. SIG Sauer has an exclusive partnership with AMEXCI and MP-SEC to deliver suppressors for those programs. The company did not give a price, a production volume or a delivery date.
AMEXCI is an industrial 3D printing company that works for the defense, aerospace and automotive sectors. It has production facilities in both Sweden and Finland. MP-SEC does assembly, testing and distribution for Nordic defense organizations and law enforcement authorities.
SIG Sauer says the partnership combines local capabilities and distribution with its existing global design and engineering expertise. It describes the Nordics as a critical logistical and supply hub for NATO.
Edvin Resebo, AMEXCI’s chief executive, said, “With SIG’s commitment to the region, we see this as just the beginning.”
