The FN 509 Compact Tactical is the 509 Compact set up for a suppressor and a red dot out of the box. It has a 4.32" cold hammer-forged threaded barrel, suppressor-height Trijicon night sights and FN's Low-Profile Optics Mounting System. At $914 it is for the buyer who wants a threaded barrel, tall sights and an optic cut done at the factory rather than added to a compact later.
