Product Overview
HSM Bear Load 305-grain is a hard cast wide flat nose .44 Magnum load made for hunting bear. The bullet is hard cast lead with a broad flat tip and no cavity, so it does not expand. It leaves the muzzle at 1,260 fps with 1,075 ft-lbs.
On a 25-yard zero it is 1.0 inch low at 50, where it still carries 911 ft-lbs. It recoils about 17 percent less in the same revolver than DoubleTap Hunter 320-grain.
