Idaho Unit 73A covers 362,290 acres and lies 18 miles south-east of American Falls and 30 miles south-west of Chubbuck. 28% of it is public land, mostly BLM (20%) and state land (4%). A further 24% is tribal land rather than public land. In 2025, 295 people hunted deer here and took 34, a 12% success rate. Its most applied-for hunt, 1097, put up 20 tags (all residencies) in the 2026 draw for 36 nonresident first-choice applicants, 2 of whom drew.
