Arizona Unit 9 covers 682,958 acres and lies 52 miles north-west of Flagstaff and 70 miles north of Sedona. 77% of it is public land, mostly national forest (48%) and state trust land (28%). In 2025, 22 people hunted pronghorn here and took 19, a 86% success rate (sum of published weapon rows). Its most applied-for hunt, 2015, put up 2 tags (all residencies) in the 2026 draw for 392 nonresident first-choice applicants, 2 of whom drew, and the last tag went to someone with 30 points.
