Watchtower Defense said in a release dated November 2 from Tomball, Texas, that its two-model Vantage Series of double-stack 1911 pistols is available through authorized FFL dealers nationwide, at $3,899 and $3,699.

The product page describes the Vantage as a full-size 9mm double-stack 1911 designed and built in Tomball, with an MSRP of $3,899. Its release gives the compact Vantage C an MSRP of $3,699, and that model’s product page lists it as a 9mm too.

Barrel length and porting set the models apart. Trigger, optic mounting and magazines are the same on both.

Porting is a set of vents machined into the slide and the barrel. Watchtower says the ports redirect gas upward and sideways and push the muzzle down. V10 is matched to the 5-inch barrel and V6 to the shorter one.

Both pistols have an MJD carbon fiber and Kevlar composite grip module. A flat, machined aluminum shoe sits on the trigger. The Vantage page lists Doug Koenig fire controls and hammer.

Both pistols have an RMR optic plate, a fiber-optic front sight and an optional removable rear blade. Optics are sold separately, and third-party mounting screws may be required.

Each pistol ships with two stainless magazines, one 126mm and one 140mm, plus a Watchtower range bag, a gun lock and a gunsmith certification card verifying trigger pull weight. A transferable limited lifetime warranty covers the pistol.

Timing is where the maker’s own pages disagree. The Vantage page says the pistol “is in development and will deploy soon,” and a note on it says the pictured prototypes may change before the 2027 release. Watchtower sells only through licensed FFL dealers, not its site, and points buyers to its online dealer locator.
